On a recent date night, we decided to try out Precinct Kitchen + Bar in the Back Bay. They’re located inside of the Lowes Hotel and have a cool industrial theme. Precinct has the bar & sit-down dining separated, so while the bar was super loud, when we sat down to eat, it was actually pretty quiet & chill. Looking at the menu, there were so many different things I wanted to try: buffalo chicken tots, macaroni and cheese, and burgers were all considered and looked delicious. However, when push came to shove, I got a flatbread. You can take the girl out of her usual pizza restaurants but you can’t stop her from getting pizza.
I have to say that this flatbread tasted better than it looks. The crust is light and has a buttery taste to it. The sauce had an even texture, and I could have used a little more on the pizza. Meat time- the Italian sausage is good and sweet but not overpowering, and the pepperoni is spicy and crisps up really nice. Their mozzarella wasn’t anything to write home about but not bad, in fact I wish there was more of it on the flatbread. I liked this overall and would definitely order again.
Bonus details: the charcuterie plate was to die for. The meats & cheese were high quality, tasty, and complimented each other perfectly while putting me just a little out of my comfort zone. My boyfriend also got truffle fries on the side with his burger and they were surprisingly decadent. Just one bite had us going MMMMM. I need to go back soon!

Yes, definitely! I forgot to mention this, but on top of it being delicious, we also felt like we got a great amount for what we paid. Go hungry. 🙂

Nice! Always a plus. Even when I have had a great meal and paid a lot more than I wanted to it’s tough. Balance is always something to strive for. Thanks for the great post! See you around Boston.
