As I posted on my Instagram, I spent the last two months training to run my first 10k race. I was working out 6 days a week, but my race was last Saturday and I exceeded my expectations for it so yay! I then declared this past week “garbage week”, a time to eat terrible food and be lazy. Monday I start training again, although less intensely, for my Thanksgiving race; this Domino’s order is my last garbage hurrah.
I’m not going to lie, I really do genuinely enjoy Domino’s once in a while. It’s cheap, convenient, and you pretty much know what you’re going to get. The biggest thing that I see vary with different orders is the amount of seasoning that they put on the crust. That garlicky powder is delicious so I am either psyched that I have a lot of it, or bummed out that the person making my pizza skimped out. If this was more consistently on the good side it would make me a lot happier. I ordered my pizzas with extra cheese, normal sauce, and pepperoni. The crust on the bottom is chewy and doesn’t have a notable taste. Like, it tastes like bread. If it’s got the garlic powder stuff on the end piece though it is soooo good. Finger licking good. The sauce is sweet and has a distinct taste. The texture isn’t the best, especially when it starts to get cold. The cheese is pretty good, tastes pretty bad for you, which is usually the end game when you’re ordering Domino’s anyway. The pepperonis are the kind that everyone likes. Job well done.

Hi there! Love your blog (and Instagram). I have been trying to embrace #PizzaLife ever since I started working at Domino’s Pizza Corporate HQ! I find your posts about Domino’s so interesting now that “I’m on the other side.” This is a complete personal opinion and suggestion, but do try the Domino’s pan pizza. It’s become my favorite. There are little bits of butter folded into the crust that melt when the pizza is popped into the oven. It’s a buttery dream come true! Glad I found your blog; I look forward to more stories!
I’ve read a few posts of yours and am also a fan! I actually visited Domino’s HQ a few weeks ago as part of the #DPZDigitalInsiders program (should have a blog post up soon.) The Domino’s pan pizza is great and actually one of my favorites – the toppings going all the way to the edge of the crust are to diiiie for. The more cheese the better, right? I stocked up during our last lunch at HQ & literally brought some on the flight home to Boston haha.
