I’m a creature of habit and this extends to my Domino’s order rotation. My Easy Order is a cheesy bread and a medium pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. Every now and then, I mix in a cheese pizza, cheddar as a topping, or make it a pan pizza. I’ve never felt the need to stray and order Domino’s Brooklyn Style pizza up until tonight.
What made tonight different? I was craving floppy cheese pizza, and I have Domino’s gift cards, so I figured I’d just give it a shot and see how it went.
When the pizza arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The crust is like their classic crust except thinner, which is exactly what I needed. The sauce & cheese ratio was a little off in places, but it all tasted like the Domino’s cheese pizza you know and love, just floppier. All in all, it satisfied my craving for a simple cheese pizza that I could douse in King Arthur Flour pizza seasoning. That stuff is so good guys, seriously give it a try.
While I liked how it tasted, did Domino’s Brooklyn Style pizza actually taste like a New York slice? No. But to be fair, did you really think it was going to?
